Quality & Compliance

What We Check, What We Document, and What We Do Not Claim

A sourcing partner is only as good as its records. This page sets out our control steps, our sourcing transparency rules, and the documents supplied with each order โ€” including the claims we deliberately avoid.

Quality control, step by step

Applied to every order unless the quotation states otherwise.

๐Ÿญ Supplier vetting

We check the legal entity, production capability, references and product documentation before the first order.

๐Ÿ“ Specification matching

The offered item is compared line by line against your datasheet, drawing or part number โ€” not just the product name.

โœ… Sample approval

For custom, branded or high-value orders, a sample is submitted for written approval before mass production.

๐Ÿ“ท Pre-shipment inspection

Quantity, labelling, packaging and visible defects are checked before dispatch, with photographic records on request.

Sourcing transparency

Three rules that apply to every quotation we issue.

Channel is declared

Each quotation states whether the item comes from the manufacturer, an authorized distributor, or an independent distributor. You are never left to assume.

Origin is declared

Country of origin and manufacturer are stated on the commercial invoice and packing list.

Condition is declared

New, refurbished, surplus or obsolete stock is described as such before the order โ€” never relabelled as new.

Documents supplied with your order

Availability depends on the product and the manufacturer. Anything not available is stated in the quotation.

DocumentWhen it is provided
Commercial invoice & packing listEvery shipment.
Certificate of originEvery shipment, on request or where required for customs.
CE Declaration of ConformityElectronics and machinery where the directive applies.
RoHS / REACH declarationsOn request, from the manufacturer where available.
FSC / PEFC certificatePaper and packaging grades where the mill holds certification.
WEEE / EPR registration supportOn request โ€” obligations depend on your country and your role as importer.
Inspection report with photosOn request, and as standard for project orders.
Datasheet / mill test certificateIndustrial and paper items where the manufacturer issues one.

What we do not claim

Stated plainly, because a buyer should not have to guess.

  • We are not a manufacturer and we do not own production facilities.
  • We do not hold ISO 9001 certification. Our process is documented and follows the principles of ISO 9001, but we do not present it as certified.
  • We are not an authorized distributor for every brand we source. Where a brand is supplied through authorized channels only, we say so in the quotation.
  • Brand names that may appear on this site are trademarks of their respective owners. No partnership, authorization or certification is implied unless confirmed in writing.
  • We do not supply counterfeit goods, or goods misrepresented as new when they are not.

Data protection

Inquiry data is processed under the GDPR. Read the Privacy Policy for what we collect, why, and how long we keep it.
